Today, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast serves 1,700 children in every communtiy throughout six counties: Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto, Highlands, Hardee and parts of West Charlotte Counties.
   

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast provides one-to-one mentoring to 1,700 children annually ages 6 to 18 in six counties in SouthWest Florida.  Mentoring has been proven to have a powerful impact on academic performance, self-confidence, attitude and relationships.
