Meet Big Brother Bob and his Little Brother Anthony

 Sadly to say, Anthony does not have a relationship with his mom or dad.  He is, however, fortunate to have the love of his grandparents who have been raising Anthony.  Anthony’s grandparents wanted to have another supportive adult in his life who could spend time doing things with Anthony they could not always do.  This is where Bob comes in.  Bob is Anthony’s Big Brother as well as friend, sports buddy, and someone who brings out the best in Anthony, according to Anthony’s grandmother.  She has nothing but praise when it comes to Bob and the support and difference he has contributed to Anthony over the years.

As a former teacher and coach, Bob dedicated many of his years to charitable efforts toward youth.  “When I retired I wanted to be more focused and try to make a difference with one child. I wanted to work with someone who had an interest in sports and Anthony has been that perfect match.”  The two enjoying playing sports and attending sporting events together.  Bob frequently attends Anthony’s baseball and football games, and even introduced Anthony to the game of golf, which has become a fast favorite for the 13 year old.

“I am looking forward to many more years of spending time with Anthony and watching him grow into a fine young man and adult.”  It seems Anthony has made a difference in my life; I am a better person because of my time and relationship with Anthony!”
