Give Where You Live Collier is a Collier County-wide
movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy on February 15, 2017 (from noon
to noon) for 40 selected nonprofit agencies in the community through online
giving. We have been selected to participate in the Give Where You Live
campaign. The funds raised will stay in the community we serve in Collier
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast Celebrates National Mentoring Month by Thanking the Community That Make Long-term Mentoring Successful. Longstanding studies show long-term, one-to-one, staff- supported volunteer mentoring works. As we mark National
Mentoring Month this January, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast is
honoring all who make up their successful community –parents, volunteers, staffers
and donors who work together to make a mentoring match strong, enduring and

Marvin Kadesh’s dedication and passion for making a difference in the life of a child as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast has been evident since day one. For the last six years, Marvin’s innate ability to shine as a mentor and friend has proven beneficial in the success of his Little Brother James as well as the organization as a whole.
Little Sister Samantha Zidor had no idea what the next four years would
mean by having her Big Sister Sharon Knapp in her life. During those
years they have been getting together both in and out of school.
Samantha has needed a lot of help with her school work. They would meet
weekly in school, working on math and getting Samantha organized.
Freedom Boat Club Donates to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast
Freedom Boat Club, the nation’s oldest and largest boat club with
12,000+ members in 21 states and Canada, recently concluded its first-ever national
cause-marketing partnership to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Philanthropic professional women who support the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission while
Educating, Encouraging and Empowering young women.
Annually, the group hosts its signature fundraising event, Loving Yourself -Health and Beauty Extravaganza. Additionally,
the women provide social and educational activities for young women and members.
Thanks to your support, we reached our goal to sell 1,000
license plate vouchers statewide and now they're ready to purchase at your
local Tax Collector's office. Big Brothers Big Sisters receives $25 per plate per year.
