Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, a one-to-one mentoring organization, is seeking a hardworking and talented Marketing Associate with graphic and website design experience for a part time positon in the Venice office. The candidate will possess a positive attitude and passion for teamwork, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and pressure. The candidate must have strong computer skills using Word, Outlook, Publisher and Excel. Must have excellent written and communication skills. Must be eager to learn, take constructive direction, and work in a team environment with a meticulous attention to detail. Skills and requirements: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Challenging, fun and very rewarding opportunity for a person who enjoys developing and strengthening both internal and external relationships based in our Fort Myers office. Looking for a strong development person who is passionate about advocating for children facing adversity. The type of person who will be a good fit for this position needs to be very comfortable with asking individuals and organizations for financial support. Responsibilities include ongoing and numerous financial support presentations to individuals and organizations to achieve goals, working as the staff liaison with the Community board, managing two large fundraising events, and collaborating with teammates to help the agency achieve excellence in all areas. Strong ethics, the ability to perform with little supervision, and a commitment to only add positive energy and stability even under pressure are requirements.
