Positions Currently Open:

  • Case Management F/T (Lee County): A youth serving organization in Lee County is seeking an energetic professional capable of providing top level customer service, interviewing and assessing, relationship development, case management consultation, and other supporting services to Children/Youth age 6 to 18 and Volunteers. Must be proficient working individually and in a team environment. Experience working in social services desired. Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Strong communication and documentation skills – written and verbal, computer literate, valid driver’s license, car and current insurance required. Bilingual a strong plus.   • Community Resource Director (Lee County):

    Challenging, fun and very rewarding opportunity for a person who enjoys developing and strengthening both internal and external relationships based in our Fort Myers office. Looking for a strong development person who is passionate about advocating for children facing adversity. The type of person who will be a good fit for this position needs to be very comfortable with asking both individuals and companies for financial and volunteer support. Responsibilities include ongoing and numerous financial and volunteer support presentations to both individuals and companies to achieve goals, working as the staff liaison with the Community board, managing two large fundraising events, and collaborating with teammates to help the agency achieve excellence in all areas. Strong ethics, the ability to perform with little supervision, and a commitment to only add positive energy and stability even under pressure are requirements.   • Grant Coordinator F/T & P/T (Agency): Highly technical, professional position serving as the grant coordinator for the organization. Primary responsibilities include preparation of proposals and grant applications, and performance of responsible professional work researching, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, Inc. Works with the Development team to support development of grants in all areas of agency development including both restricted and unrestricted funding possibilities. Effectively and efficiently generates grant application proposals and supporting documentation in response to grant funding opportunities. Updates funding calendar identifying funding sources, application requests, program areas, deadlines, and reporting requirements. Works closely and responds in a timely fashion with grants ‘gate-keeper’ to insure all data is collected and submitted prior to proposal deadlines.
