VP of Community Development
Venice, FL: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast is looking for a VP of Community Development to build capacity for serving more children in emerging and underserved areas and position the agency in the marketplace as the not-for-profit organization of choice. Additionally, emphasis is placed on Community Board effectiveness for revenue generation and volunteer recruitment while retaining customer service and program excellence. Duties to include: provide leadership for continued stewardship and solicitation of existing donors, prospecting for donors and sources of volunteers, developing funding and volunteer solicitation strategies for each market in collaboration with development, recommendations for drafting of proposals for emerging markets, building relationships with community Board of Directors and others to secure revenues and volunteers, hire and supervise Community Resource Directors, and participate with the leadership team for whole agency effectiveness. Community Resource Director
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast is seeking a strong, self-starting individual with a passion for advocating for children facing adversity to fill their need for a Community Resource Director for Collier County. This person will cultivate developmental relationships for the ongoing support of their programs. This unique opportunity will rely heavily on relationship building both internally and externally to secure financial and volunteer needs to achieve organizational goals. Excellent written and verbal communications are a must to continue to solicit backing through presentations to both individuals and companies. The position will work in conjunction with a community advisory board and be responsible for the management of the office staff to ensure the agency achieve excellence in all areas. Established and well-known community events will be the responsibility of this position to conduct and continue to enhance with each new occurrence. The right candidate will enjoy a challenge and be able to perform well under pressure with little supervision to continue the mission of the organization.

Program Assistant
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast is seeking a highly organized individual for a part time position in our Ft. Myers Office. Individual should be capable of fast paced multitasking in regards to database management skills, customer relations, answering phones, and filing. Working within a multidisciplinary team and excellent customer service is key. The successful applicant will be computer literate in Word, Excel, and database navigation. Lead Mentor Manager F/T
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast (Bradenton office) is seeking an energetic professional capable of providing leadership and oversight to program staff and driving program goals. Candidate must also be able to provide top level customer service, interviewing and assessing, match oversight, relationship development, case management consultation, and other supportive services to Youth age 6 to 18 and Volunteers. Must be proficient working individually and in a Team environment and have management experience. Social services experience necessary as well. Bachelor’s degree required. Strong communication and documentation skills – written and verbal, computer literate, valid driver’s license, car and current insurance required. Bilingual a strong plus. Full benefits package.
